We spend a good two weeks in the small, inconspicuous country of Timor-Leste. However, we only spend a few days of that time in the saddle, as it is barely more than 100 km from the border crossing to our destination, the capital city of Dili. Instead, we spend time with our Warmshowers host Rob, visit the few sights in Dili, and take a trip to the small island of Atauro, which impresses us with its marvelous underwater world right off its beaches. It is the last highlight of our Southeast Asia stage, which we finally complete in Dili after more than 9 months.
